Universal Orlando has just announced modest price increases to their annual passes, which remain enormous values for anyone who wants to enjoy their two state-of-the-art theme parks again and again. This is even doubly true when you consider the new rides Universal has on the horizon.
This summer, Universal Orlando is set to premiere two huge new attractions: the redesigned "HULK" coaster and "Skull Kingdom" based on the upcoming KING KONG reboot. These two amazing rides are more than enough to justify the slight price hike.
If you're an avid fan of the parks, the Premier Pass is your best bet. You will receive unlimited access to both parks every day of the year, VIP parking, and a complimentary Halloween Horror Nights ticket. It's $444.99 per person, which is only $20 more than last year. If you consider that a single day ticket is $105, and it doesn't let you park hop, get you VIP parking, or treat you to a night of Halloween Horror Nights, it's an unparalleled deal.
The Preferred Pass still gets you into both parks with no blackout dates and free regular parking in the garage, but only costs $309.99 for the year per person. That's just a $10 increase – which is less than the cost of one IMAX movie, if you think about it.
Finally, the Power Pass has some blackout dates and doesn't include parking, but it's a steal at $234.99. If you only go three or four days a year, you'll save plenty over the regular gate price. It's well worth it.
Whichever option you choose, you will have access to all of the great attractions Universal has to offer, including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter©, Jurassic Park, The Simpsons, and many more!
