Star Wars Celebration Headed to Orlando in 2017

The Force has blessed Orlando again. I know, I know, I can hear you in your best Han Solo impression saying, “that’s not how the Force works.” But, it’s a blessing all the same.

Star Wars Celebration is a massive convention not unlike San Diego Comic Con. However, instead of that con’s broad focus, this one specifically centers on all things from long ago in a galaxy far, far away.

There will be panels with cast members and technicians from the movies and shows on hand to answer fans’ burning questions. And since the next installment, the still untitled Star Wars: Episode VIII will be hitting Christmas 2017, there will certainly be exciting announcements and developments revealed for the first time at the convention.

Since nothing more than the date has been announced as of yet, there’s no way to know if Disney will be showing off any designs or plans from their Star Wars renovation to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but the safe money is on them doing just that.

That means this Star Wars Celebration is ripe with “big news” possibilities, and is something that most hardcore fans will not want to miss.

Star Wars Celebration will be held in Orlando, Florida on April 13-16, 2017 at the Orange County Convention Center.

Tickets, including 4-day, single-day, and VIP, are scheduled to go on sale Wednesday, May 25 at 12:00 noon Pacific/3:00pm Eastern/9:00pm GMT at www.starwarscelebration.com.
